What we process
- Contact and billing details you provide — name, company, email, and the contents of your inquiry.
- Customer repositories provided for a contracted engagement — including the author names and email addresses embedded in their Git history.
Why
To respond to your inquiry, and to deliver the contracted Evidence Screen. Context you supply is recorded as customer-supplied, never as evidence.
Where
Under the operator-run founding workflow, engagement analysis runs on a single dedicated local machine — no cloud processing during analysis, and no AI services touch engagement data. Under the customer-run local Atlas model, the repository never reaches us at all. See Security & Data Handling for the verified posture.
How long
Where a repository has been transferred to us for an operator-run engagement, repository data and derived analysis stores are deleted 7 days after report acceptance by default; earlier deletion on written request is honored within 5 business days; customer-contracted longer retention is possible. The delivered report is retained as a business record, alongside contracts and invoices. Where you run Atlas yourself, we hold none of this.
Sharing
None — except payment and email service providers, for their respective data, as needed to operate. We do not sell or share personal data beyond that.

The contact form sends your submission to hello@knowltonindustries.com. This site does not use tracking beyond what is strictly necessary to serve it.
